Our Commitment to Quality

Your Investment is Protected by Our 1-Year Limited Warranty

Effective for all Rumtoo Manufacturing pelletizing machines purchased on or after [Effective Date, January 1, 2022]

Warranty Coverage

Rumtoo Manufacturing (“Rumtoo”) warrants its new plastic pelletizing machines against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one (1) year from the date of original installation or 13 months from the date of shipment from Rumtoo, whichever occurs first.

This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Our Responsibility

During the warranty period, Rumtoo will, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair or replace any part of the machine found to be defective in material or workmanship at no charge.
  • Provide necessary labor for the repair or replacement of such defective parts, subject to pre-approval if service is performed by non-Rumtoo authorized personnel.

Replaced parts become the property of Rumtoo. Replacement parts may be new or reconditioned and will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This Limited Warranty does not cover, and Rumtoo shall not be liable for, the following:

  • Normal wear and tear parts, including but not limited to: blades, screens, seals, belts, and other consumable components.
  • Damage or failure resulting from:
    • Improper installation, operation, or maintenance not in accordance with Rumtoo’s official documentation and guidelines.
    • Accident, abuse, misuse, or negligence.
    • Unauthorized modifications, alterations, or repairs.
    • Use of non-genuine Rumtoo spare parts.
    • Operation outside the machine’s rated capacity or intended application.
    • External causes such as power surges, fire, flood, or other acts of nature.
    • Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality.
  • Shipping costs for returning defective parts to Rumtoo or for shipping repaired/replacement parts to the customer (unless otherwise agreed in writing).
  • On-site labor costs for travel and expenses, unless specifically included in a separate service agreement or pre-approved by Rumtoo.

How to Obtain Warranty Service

To obtain warranty service, the original purchaser must undertake the following steps:

  1. Notify Rumtoo Customer Service or your authorized Rumtoo dealer promptly upon discovery of any alleged defect.
  2. Provide the machine model number, serial number, date of purchase/installation, and a detailed description of the problem.
  3. Upon request, provide photographic or video evidence of the defect.
  4. Follow instructions provided by Rumtoo Customer Service for diagnosis, part return, or on-site service coordination.

Limitation of Liability

THE REMEDIES DESCRIBED ABOVE ARE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES AND RUMTOO’S ENTIRE LIABILITY FOR ANY BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. RUMTOO’S LIABILITY SHALL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES EXCEED THE ACTUAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT, NOR SHALL RUMTOO UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OR LOSSES, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.

Important: Rumtoo Manufacturing reserves the right to modify this warranty policy at any time without prior notice. The warranty in effect at the time of your equipment purchase will apply. Please retain your purchase documentation for reference.
